Our physiotherapists are trained to thoroughly assess your posture, areas of stiffness or hypermobility, weakness, movement patterns and compensation strategies.
In our classes, exercises are set at levels 1-3 in the APPI style of pilates, so the screening session is an opportunity to see what level you start at for each muscle group, and what modifications or precautions we need to consider for you in classes.
It's a chance to introduce you to some fundamental pilates principles and basic movements, and set some goals for you to achieve in the coming weeks as you gain strength, control and flexibility.
